Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Alzheimers and Dementia Sufferers an activtity which allows them to be engaged in positive feelings and to trigger happy memories.
Music for dementia aims to improve the connections and relationships between those with Dementia/Alzheimer’s and their families, friends and carers.
Recent findings suggest that the use of music as therapy can delay cognitive decline amongst the elderly.
Team Experience
Michelle Elliott – Activities Coordinator
Michelle has 10+ years at delivering activities for dementia and alzheimers sufferers and regularly uses music therapy as part of a care program. Michelle is a dedicated and experienced practioner and believes very strongly in the power that music can play in care provision.
Dave Sharp
Dave is an experienced IT and software development professional with a keen interest in the care of dementia and alzheimers sufferers. Dave has raised money for the provision of music in the care environment and continues to use his network to create funding opportunities.
